I am SO GRATEFUL Dr. Steffes offers Softwave treatments.
I'm in my forties and in the best shape of my life. However, I damaged my rotator cuff when I forgot I wasn't a teenager anymore while working cows. I spent six months doctoring on it with only minimal results. I couldn't raise my arm above my chest without excruciating pain. My sleep suffered as I couldn't lay on that shoulder or roll over without it waking me up (and I have a high pain threshold). My quality of life was definitely impeded. It was looking like I would be doomed to rotator cuff surgery.
But then Dr. Steffes told me about this Softwave machine she and her partner were acquiring for their practice. No invasive surgery, no medications, just stimulating my own body's healing stem cells through electrical percussion. I was skeptical--it sounded a little too much like magic. I was also getting desperate, so I agreed to be one of her first patients to try this new tech.
It took about 12 sessions over the course of three months but by about the eighth session I started to notice improvements. The healing continued until I was at about 95% mobility with that shoulder, maybe six months after the last session. One year out, and my shoulder was at 100%. Absolutely amazing. Truly a miracle of technology!
It's been two years now with no regression in performance or mobility. Just yesterday I hand-dug a seven-foot-deep trench for a water line project, through hard packed clay. I'd never have been able to do that without the Softwave treatments, even with rotator cuff surgery (since surgery never fully fixes the problem).
I've since received treatments on my high-mileage feet and ankles and my wife has had work done on her elbows and feet. We're grateful Dr. Steffes invested in this technology, as it's completely improved our lives--all without any pharmaceuticals or surgeries!
